Mini Nareko - Nareko Michigami Plush

The newest guardian in Gensokyo.

A 20 cm tall plush doll of Nareko Michigami from Touhou 20: Fossilized Wonders. As far as I know, one of the first Nareko plushies you can actually buy: one original design, in stock now, while everyone else is still warming up. Soft all-minky fabric, embroidered face, sized for a desk, a sphynx, or a pyramid.

Who is Nareko Michigami?

Nareko is the Stage 3 boss of Touhou 20: Fossilized Wonders (2025). She's a dōsojin: one of those roadside guardian deities that watch over mountain passes and village borders across Japan. Hers guards the pyramidal altar of Asama Purifying Mountain, with the ancient-Egyptian look and the riddles to match. Chimi Houjuu placed her there, and since a guardian can never leave her post, she's growing up alone at it. Chimi even asks Marisa to drop by and play with her once in a while, out of pity. If you were around when the Fossilized Wonders demo got released, chances are she was your favorite right away. Guardians can't leave their post. Your desk, technically, counts as a post.

Fumo-inspired doujin design

Same system as the rest of the line: the silhouette is inspired by the famous Japanese fumo plushies, but every design here is an original doujin creation by Sarto. It's fan work, not official merchandise. The photos on this page are the actual plush.
